We are happy to announce an exciting change as we prepare for the upcoming academic year. As we expand our transfer cohort size, our programmatic offerings must also expand to meet the needs of our growing numbers of scholars. With that said, the Goodnight Scholars Program is now the Goodnight Scholarships office and will offer two separate programs: the Goodnight Scholars Program and the Goodnight Transfer Scholars Program. This organizational change will allow us to be more intentional about the resources, programming, and experiences we provide to each of our student populations.
To reflect these changes, we have updated our website! Our newly revamped platform provides a more in-depth look at all of the opportunities our programs have to offer, as well as the distinct transfer and first-year student application and selection processes. To further showcase this, our stories are now placed into first-year and transfer categories in an effort to highlight our scholars’ experiences in each program.
The Goodnight Scholarships office will continue to offer community-building opportunities between our two scholar populations. The 2022-2023 academic year will be filled with travel, service, and other engagement touchpoints that will bring the transfer and first-year cohorts together. We understand the value that comes with having such a diverse group of scholars and will continue fostering that connectivity in all that we do.
We look forward to the future that lies ahead for our office and our scholars, and are excited to embark on this journey of expansion in the coming years!
