Goodnight Scholars Program Selects Finalists for Transfer Class of 2026
The Goodnight Scholars Program at NC State University revealed finalists who will participate in the Program’s Annual Transfer Finalist Interview Day. From the Finalist Interview Day, 50 students will be invited to join the Goodnight Transfer Scholars Program’s Class of 2026.
“We’re excited to welcome our transfer finalists to campus this Saturday. This is one of our final events of the academic year, and is always such a positive, energizing day” said Allison Medlin, executive director of the Goodnight Scholarships office. “There is nothing better than welcoming an outstanding group of finalists to campus and showing them what makes this community and university so special.”
The finalists were selected from a pool of candidates from across North Carolina and represent 26 community colleges, 32 counties, and six NC State academic colleges. Finalist applications were reviewed by a volunteer committee consisting of current and former NC State faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as industry representatives from SAS Institute and the Kenan Fellows Program. Each finalist demonstrated exceptional accomplishments including outstanding academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community engagement, and an affinity for STEM and education.
