Goodnight Scholars Program Announces Transfer Class of 2026
The Goodnight Scholarships office at NC State revealed the 50 recipients from 21 North Carolina counties selected for its new transfer cohort of scholars.
Recipients participated in a thorough selection process over the spring semester, which included an application and interview with a volunteer committee consisting of current and former NC State faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as industry representatives from SAS.
The Goodnight Scholarship is valued at $23,000 per year for up to three years ($69,000) for transfer students. The cohorts receive access to a comprehensive student development program that includes weekly programming, exclusive travel opportunities, and enrichment grant funding. Students will also receive transfer specific programming and instruction to aid in the successful transition from community college to NC State.
The transfer class of 2026 demonstrated exceptional accomplishments during their respective community college careers including stellar academic achievement, memberships in national honors societies, and involvement in student organizations. The class features students with impressive accolades including President’s and Dean’s List honorees, Phi Theta Kappa honors society members, military service-people, and parents of the future generation.
