Jason Perry

Associate Director, Goodnight Scholars Program

Peele Hall 203E

Jason “Jay” Perry joined the Goodnight Scholars Program in May 2013 as the first-ever full-time employee. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth in 2006 with a B.A. in English: Writing, Communications, and Rhetoric and in 2008 with an M.A. in Professional Writing with a journalism concentration. Upon graduation, he went on to work for a collection of small arts and entertainment publications in Southeastern Massachusetts. After transitioning out of the journalism industry, Jay spent a few years living out in California and Arizona where he went on to earn his M.Ed. in Counseling and Student Affairs from Northern Arizona University and, shortly after, work for the Office of Parent Programs at the University of Alabama. Jay and his wife, Veronica, moved to North Carolina in January 2013. He enjoys traveling, exercising, photography, video games, and is a diehard New England Patriots fan. Seriously, he’s obsessed.
