Kimme Tomczak ’26

My name is Kimmie and I am a sophomore majoring in Secondary Science Education and in Chemistry. My favorite thing to do is play piccolo in the marching band and other ensembles around campus. I am also a Teaching Fellow and a member of the National Science Teacher Association, and I can’t wait to be a high school chemistry teacher!

Alex Scruggs ’26

I am a sophomore majoring in Electrical/Computer Engineering at NC State. I enjoy electronics design, electronic fabrication, and problem solving. I am involved with the Liquid Rocket Lab and Helping Hand Club at NCSU where I work on controls systems and power systems projects. In my free time I enjoy practicing golf, archery, and playing recreational sports.

Hello my name is Jairo Lara Diaz (He/Him/Él) I am majoring in Computer Engineering with a Minor in Science Technology and Society. I am part of the transfer class of 2025 cohort. After graduating I want to enter the field of Machine Learning or Hardware design. In my free time I like to spend time with friends and family, cooking food, and building gundams!

My name is Madeline and I am a senior majoring in Biological Sciences, Human Biology concentration, and minoring in Philosophy and Microbiology. I love to run, hike, and go to concerts on and around campus. I’m currently doing research at Duke Health and I’m hoping to either get my Medical Degree or a Masters in Public Health after I graduate!

Hello everyone!! My name is Eh Taw Boe (eh-ta-bow) and I am an outreach ambassador from the transfer class of 2025 majoring in Animal Science with a concentration in Veterinary Bioscience. I’m passionate about working with children, plants, and animals. My love for Earth has driven my passions to take better care of children who are the future and mother nature that surrounds us which all begins with plants and animals.
